// Types of Remarketing Sales

Direct Sale -
A direct sale is a sale outside of the online auction process.  This generally encompasses wholesale and retail sales of items.  TechRenew has hundreds of direct wholesale buyers that are looking at buying large lots of equipment along with thousands of buyers who are looking for single items that are willing to purchase at retail price.

Wholesale vs. Retail - In choosing to liquidate your assets there is the question of how is best to accomplish this, either by selling large lots at lower per unit dollar values or selling individual or smaller lots at a higher per unit dollar value.  TechRenew's ability to partner with many retail sales channels allows to move large volumes of product quickly.

Below is a graph that shows how selling at retail generates higher sales values.  It has been adjusted to show the same number of units being sold between the categories of wholesale and retail.  This graph was generated from real market data from our database of sales and information gathered from eBay's sales database.  Click on the image below for a larger picture of the graph.

Online Auction - TechRenew's expertise is in the online auction venue.  We have been one of the most respected eBay partners since 1999 and have over 10,000 positive feedback comments, resulting in a 99.0% customer approval rating.  We are also focused at researching other markets to maximize value in the remarketing of assets and reach new potential buyers.  The benefits of the online auction format is the ability to move large quantities of product and sell them at values higher than retail.

Retail vs. Fair Market Value - In much the same fashion as selling retail over wholesale, selling a Fair Market Value (FMV) produces an even greater return on your inventory.  In many cases, FMV is 10% to 30% higher than retail value.
